17.10.2021

October 13, 2021 marked the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the mass shootings of the Jews of Dnipropetrovsk - a tragedy that happened in the beam of the Botanical Garden. Within two days (October 13-14, 1941), the Nazis killed between 11,000 and 13,000 Jews in the city. This massacre was the largest, but not the last, in the city. In total, during the Nazi occupation of 1941 - 1943, the victims of the Holocaust in Dnepropetrovsk were from 17 to 20 thousand people.

The video in Ukrainian was prepared by the staff of Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine" - Yehor Vradii and Dmytro Konovalov.
