23.06.2020

Maryna Strilchuk, the Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” researcher, is conducting an online lesson on the topic of “Crystal Night (Kristallnacht)”. The Catastrophe Eve”. This is about large-scale anti-Jewish pogroms that swept through Germany, Austria, and the Sudetenland in November 1938 and went down in history under the name of the “Night of Broken Glass” or “Crystal Night (Kristallnacht)”. It is these events that historians consider crucial in the persecution of Jews by Nazi Germany, the culmination of which was the Holocaust.
