17.06.2020

Iryna Radchenko, the Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” scientific head, suggests considering the creation of collective farms in the territory of the State of Israel in her online lesson.

“We dreamed about our land, but the land that we received was not yet a dream. It was a little piece, one thousandth of the Middle East. This land did not treat us very well. There were swamps, mosquitoes, desert in the south, stones. It was necessary to choose between mosquitoes and stones. There were two lakes on it: one was dead, the other was dying. There was a famous river, but there was no water in it. That is, there was no water at all. There were no natural resources: neither gold nor oil”. - Shimon Peres (1923-2016), Israeli politician and statesman, 12th Prime Minister of Israel, 9th President of Israel.
