Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” celebrates International Museum Day! On this occasion, we invite residents and guests of our city to join the festive events, which will take place on May 17 from 11:00.

The following will be waiting for you:

 11.00 – a tour of a unique institution – the National Sofrut Center.* Here they write and verify sacred texts that are used in Jewish communities for prayer and the fulfillment of the commandments;

 11.30 – tour of the temporary exhibition “Unknown Exhibits from the Museum's Funds.” The artifacts of the exhibition, which have never been exhibited before, are available for viewing for only 1 day!*;

 12.15 – tour of the temporary exhibition “Someone Was a Neighbor. Choice, Human Behavior, and the Holocaust” at the Holocaust Memorial Museum (Washington, DC);

 13.00 – Valuable prize draw.

Entrance to the Museum is free throughout the day.
