On April 10, a thematic museum session was held, the participants of which were students of the International Humanitarian Institute “Beit Hana”, as well as students of the Humanitarian Lyceum named after Hai-Mushka Schneerson. Thematic online meeting with the Deputy Director of the Museum for Scientific Work, Dr. Yegor Vradii, was dedicated to the history of the terrifying invention of mankind – concentration camps as a method and tool of mass murder of people.
During the class, the students were able to learn not only about the scale of the Nazi concentration camp system, the terrifying consequences of their activities, but also about exceptional examples of the resilience of the human spirit and the will to resist Nazism – the real-life examples of Oleksandr Pechersky, Mykhailo Yemets and other prisoners who were not only able to survive in hellish conditions, but also fight against concentrated evil – Nazism.
Unfortunately, the history of human cruelty does not lose its relevance for the modern generation of Ukrainians – citizens of a state that is fighting for the right to its own existence. Therefore, the lessons of the past require careful and thoughtful study.
