Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky visited

On November 14, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky visited Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine". The Museum tour for an important delegation was conducted by the Deputy Director for Research of  Museum and "Tkuma" Institute, Dr. Yehor Vradii.

He acquainted the distinguished guests with the history and concept of Museum and the main exhibitions. Mr. Ambassador's special attention was drawn to the hall dedicated to the history of political repressions in the USSR and the fate of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, Sixth Rabbi of Chabad-Lubavitch. Over the years, Michael Brodsky was ambassador to Kazakhstan, Almaty. There ended the life of Rabbi, who was repressed by the Soviet authorities and exiled to Kazakhstan in 1939, ended, where he soon died.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to preserving the memory of the Holocaust in Dnipro, in particular, the memorialization of the heroism of Ukrainian soldiers and the righteous peoples of the world, as well as further development of educational projects of  Museum in cooperation with Israeli cultural and educational institutions.
