Student internship at Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine"

On July 5, at Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine" the second-year students of the University of Customs and Finance, majoring in History and Archeology, began their internship.

One of the main tasks of the practice is to acquaint students with the system of functioning of museum institutions, directions and forms of their work on acquisition and processing, systematization and accounting, storage and use of funds and exhibits. Therefore, during the two weeks of study, interns will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the museum business and gain skills in the museum field.

The work of the trainees will be coordinated by the head of the scientific department of  Museum, Dr. Iryna Radchenko. On the first day of practice, students together with their supervisor, prof. Department of History and Theory of State and Law of the University of Customs and Finance Oleh Morozov  visited Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine"conducted by Dr. Olena Ischchenko.

They got acquainted with the history of the Museum, its concept and features of the exhibition.

Students will have a lot of work ahead in the structural divisions of Museum, so we wish our interns success!
