Today our Museum hosted a very extraordinary person. It was Sidnei Tendler, a famous Brazilian architect, poet, designer, artist and museologist. Mr. Oleh Vasylenko, the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Brazil in Dnipro, arrived at Museum with him. Candidate of Historical Sciences, Deputy Director of Museum Dr. Yehor Vradii conducted a very interesting tour for famous visitors. The guests looked with great attention at the exhibits related to the history of the Jewish population of Dnipro. The Chuppah (the veil under which a Jewish couple stands during marriage) brought to Museum from Mohyliv-Podilskyi was an exhibit of a great interest. Mr. Tendler's relatives emigrated to Brazil from Mohyliv-Podilskyi in the 1920s. Photography on the backdrop of the ancient streets of our city also was sentimental. Not every day it is possible to take pictures with a device made at the beginning of the last century!
