School of the Young Guide HistoryLabs

Dear friends! Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine" and "Tkuma" Institute together with FSU Limmud Labs initiates the creation of a School of the Young Guide HistoryLabs in Dnipro.

HistoryLabs – is an offer for active youth of Dnipro and Zaporizhia, who are interested in the development of the tourist potential of our region and want to participate in the revival and preservation of the Jewish historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine.

The school will host interactive classes on the psychology of sightseeing and small group management, the history of Katerynoslav-Dnipropetrovsk-Dnipro and other cities in the region, language workshops, communication with like-minded people, interesting and extraordinary people and extremely positive emotions.

Lectures will be held once a week (Sunday) for 6 months at Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine".

Classes start on March 14, 2021. Upon completion of the school, participants who fully complete the program will receive official certificates. The best graduates will have a guaranteed opportunity to take part in the international educational projects of Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine" together with the leading museums of Israel, Germany and Poland.

Participants will be selected on a competitive basis.

  • want to get to know better the past of the city in which you live, are interested in studying and popularizing the Jewish cultural heritage in Ukraine;
  • dream of learning to conduct excursions and turn tourism into a matter of life;
  • Your activities are related to tourism, history or education;
  • love to learn foreign languages;
  • want to immerse yourself in the nuances of the psychology of museum and sightseeing activities, as well as grow as a person,
