On June 15 representatives of the Oleksandriia City Council and museum staff from Oleksandriia visited Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine". It is planned to create a museum of Dmytro Chyzhevsky - a famous scientist, philosopher and linguist who was born in Oleksandriia - so the purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the experience of creating museums in Dnipro and regional museum practices.

The Museum tour was conducted by Dr. Olena Ishchenko, who focused the guests' attention on the peculiarities of the construction of exhibitions, the use of multimedia technologies and art installations. We truly thank the local historian Valery Zhvanko, who gave us the book "Our compatriot Dmytro Chyzhevsky - an outstanding scientist-encyclopedist, philosopher and historian of culture and science".
